In Japan, the series uses its English title, but is also translated as "ピングー". The Pingu Show also aired on Rai Yoyo, Pingu in the City was showned on Cartoonito in December 31, 2019-Mawith 16 episodes. In Italy, Pingu was showned on Raisat Ragazzi and Rai 2 in 1997, but was later removed, it then aired on Rai Yoyo (Formerly Raisat Yoyo) and is one of the first programs to been showned in it's production date, Novem(Along Teletubbies, Pimpa and Pet Pals) with two episodes airing at 2:20-6:55 PM, it also aired on JimJam in July 2008.
In British Columbia, Pingu is aired during commercial breaks on Knowledge Network.
Some of the controversial episodes, such as " Pingu Quarrels With His Mother" and " Little Accidents", have aired uncut on APTN Kids. It can still be seen on TV in that country since APTN airs "The Pingu Show" as part of its morning children's programming block "APTN Kids", and the show is available in English and French language versions. Pingu has been a mainstay of the children's telly programming blocks on TVOntario since the mid-1990s. In Canada, Pingu aired on TVOKids, CBC Kids, Knowledge Network and Treehouse TV. Pingu in the City is currently being aired on Gloobinho and Episodes are available on Globoplay. According to Tv Brasil's official website the last time an episode of Pingu was aired on the channel ( Pingu Wants to Fly) was on October 12th 2014 and it does not appear in the air schedules. It currently airs on TV Brasil as of 2009 however it's most likely removed as of recently. In Brazil, Pingu aired on TV Cultura at once, but it got removed some time in the mid to late 2000's. In Australia, episodes of Pingu originally aired as a segment on the children's programme, The Book Place on the Seven Network from 1991 to 1996 and later aired on ABC Television as a stand-alone programme from 1997 to 2016.
